Terry Farman, is proving to be the new force on the grid in the BARC/MGOC Championship, but it was no walkover for Farman. Simon Stayner was on pole, but both Terry Farman and Mick Mercer made blinding starts and were soon at the front. Top contender Mick Mercer had no intention of letting Farman take all the glory. Not once, not twice but time and time again Mercer did his utmost to unseat the Midget of Farman at Russel bend.
Russel bend is the most popular viewing point at Snetterton, and the spectators were loving it! So it was a titanic tussell at the front, with Simon Stayner in third place not far behind Mercer. A mistake by Mercer, as he tried to out brake Farman allowed Stayner to move up a place. Still chasing Farman hard both Stayner & Mercer were now to get that sinking feeling as Farman took the chequered flag, ahead of them both!

Class B - 10 laps

As the field charged into the first corner, 'Riches', there was a squeal of tyres, everyone trying to make up a place or two under braking, some managed it, some did not. Colin Simpson lost a bucket load of places and found himself in tenth spot. At this point Rob Addison found himslf in the lead, though this was shortlived as Andy Cambell proved to be on better form.
Simpson, may I remind you, was, after the first corner tenth, by the ninth lap he was back up to second, but then, after another mistake at 'Coram', (which is an extremly fast right hander), Simpson did a little grass cutting and effectively put his challenge to an end, but it was still such a close finish, with just a half second in it.
Campbells delight was evident as he punched the air in celebration of his first win, this season.
Third place man was Nick Golhar, his best place so far this year.
