BARC/MGOC Cadwell Park
(Round 12)

Class B
Fegus Campbell was on form yet again for this years visit to the Lincolnshire race circuit, Cadwell Park. This has got to be one of the best circuits in the country for the spectator, as you can get close to the action without the intimidation of huge fencing between you and the action.
Ian Evans got the best times during practice to put him on pole, but as already mentioned Campbell was on form and stormed off the line, not to passed.
Pole man Ian Evans had to be content with second, which must have been a dissapointment to him, having been quickest in the warm up. The pace set was blistering and led to Campbell setting a new lap record for the class.

Class A
If you thought the Maestro's were off the sartline quick, then you should have seen the start Terry Farman, in a MG Midget, made. He was in sixth place on the grid and was up to second place by the first corner.
His blistering form was short lived though, the traction he got at the start did not last and he finished back down in fifth place. The win on this twisty, undulating circuit was taken by another MG Midget and at the wheel was Grahame Davis
