BARC/MGOC Mondello Park
(7th & 8th round)


For rounds seven and eight the MGOC Championship circus made a trip across the water to Northern Ireland to Mondello Park. They make the trip just once a year and there was a good crowd of enthusiasts to give them a warm welcome.

Two rounds 7 & 8 were held on Sunday, and it was the culmination of a hectic weekend for the racers, what with travelling and then getting two rounds in ( No ! not at the bar ).

The weekends racing was especially rewarding for Fergus Campbell, who,took victory in both rounds of Class B. The honours were split in Class A, in round seven the win went to Matthew Read and in round eight it was the turn of Mick Mercer.
