| True to Jeff's love of MG's
for the past several years, he has always wanted a Magnette. Luckily
the opportunity arose recently where he was able to acquire the "Maggie"
pictured below from a NAMGAR member in Iowa. Jeff and a friend drove
down leaving at 5AM on a Friday morning and returned home to Detroit
with the Magnette about 2AM on Saturday morning. It was a great trouble
free drive...though he did run out of gas on the freeway outside of
Gary, IN. Maggie has an early MGB
1800 engine (with Weber) and a 3.90 rear end which makes it a very good
cruising car. As you can see by the photos above, she is his winter
daily driver.
